Many EBR residents feel powerless in politics

America's are grumbling that their politicians don't listen to them. East Baton Rouge Parish residents are no different. 

In the 2016 CityStats poll, 51% of surveyed residents said they have little or no influence over their elected leaders. That number was 55% last year. Only 10% said they had "high influence" over their elected officials.
